CBI Offroad Discount Code: TVO5 for 5% Off (2026)
I earn a commission if you buy through these links or codes, at no extra cost to you. I only list brands I've used or tested on my own trucks.
The CBI Offroad discount code is TVO5, for 5% off at cbioffroadfab.com. Enter it at checkout. It works on CBI's own site, which sells their front and rear bumpers, rock sliders and skid plates for Toyota trucks and SUVs.
How to use the code
- Go to cbioffroadfab.com and pick the part for your exact year and model.
- Add it to your cart and open checkout.
- Type TVO5 in the coupon box. All caps, no spaces.
- Check that the 5% comes off before you pay.
Most stores take one code per order. 5% isn't huge. If CBI is running a bigger sale, the sale price may beat it, so compare both and use whichever saves you more. CBI also has a service personnel discount linked in their site footer. If you qualify for that, check which one is better.
Another place to check: Runnin4Tacos
Runnin4Tacos carries a big chunk of the CBI lineup too, over a hundred CBI parts when I checked, and a lot of the CBI links in my older video descriptions go there. My Runnin4Tacos code is TVO10.
So if the bumper you want is listed in both places, price it out both ways with each code and go with the lower total. Shipping can change the math on something as heavy as a bumper.
Why I trust CBI
So, CBI armor has been on our own trucks for years. Back in 2021 I made a video on the skid plates on our 4Runner, and at that point we had CBI skids on our 4Runner, our Tacoma and our Tundra.
When the 2022 Tundra came out, we installed CBI's Covert front bumper on ours. The reason we went with it is that it gives the new Tundra front recovery points and room for a winch, and it follows the lines of the factory bumper so well that it looks factory. Later that year we even gave one away on the channel along with some Heretic light bars.
We also put a CBI front bumper on a 2019 Tacoma. It follows the lines of the Tacoma really well, and the fitment with our bumper caps was perfect. When we tested our 3rd gen Tacoma bumper caps, CBI's T3 bumper was one of the high-clearance bumpers on the list that they work with.
One honest trade-off: when we added a Heretic light bar kit to the Tundra, it was made for the factory bumper. Since we had the Covert on, we had to modify the brackets a little to make it sit lower. Not a big deal, but plan for it if you're mixing brands.
Which CBI armor fits your truck
Here's what CBI lists on their site right now for the Toyotas most of you are driving. Lineups change, so always check the product page for your exact year before you order.
| Vehicle | Front bumpers | Other armor |
|---|---|---|
| Tacoma, 2016–2023 | Covert, Classic, Baja, Adventure, Dakar Hybrid | High Clearance rear bumper, Classic, Trail and Overland rock sliders, front, rear and full skid plates |
| Tacoma, 2024+ | Covert, Super Stock, Classic, Baja, Adventure | Overland rock sliders, front, rear and full skid plates, lower control arm skids |
| 4Runner 5th gen | Covert, Classic, Baja, Adventure | Classic rear bumper, Classic, Trail and Overland rock sliders, front, rear and gas tank skids |
| 4Runner 6th gen, 2025+ | Super Stock Covert, Classic Full Plate, Baja, Adventure | Rock sliders, front, rear and full skid plates, lower control arm skids |
| Tundra, 2022+ | Covert, Covert Baja, Baja, Adventure, Dakar | Classic rear bumper, Overland rock sliders, front, rear and full Overland skid plates |
They also make parts for the 2022+ Sequoia, older Tundras and 4Runners, the Land Cruiser and Lexus GX, and a lot of non-Toyota trucks.
Covert or a full bumper?
- If you want it to look stock but still want recovery points and a winch, the Covert is the one. That's why we picked it for our Tundra.
- If you want a different look, CBI also makes Baja and Adventure style bumpers for most of these trucks. Compare the product photos side by side for your year.
- If you're adding lights that were designed for the factory bumper, expect some bracket work, like we had on the Tundra.
And for the underside, we've run CBI skid plates on our 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra.
