Dasaita Discount Code: 08RUN4TACOS for 8% Off (2026)
I earn a commission if you buy through these links or codes, at no extra cost to you. I only list brands I've used or tested on my own trucks.
The Dasaita discount code is 08RUN4TACOS, for 8% off at dasaita.com. Enter it at checkout. Dasaita makes Android head units with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and I've run two of them in my 2007 Tundra.
How to use the code
- Go to dasaita.com and shop by your exact vehicle and year.
- Pick your options on the product page. Depending on the listing, that can be screen size, memory or the harness for your truck.
- Type 08RUN4TACOS in the discount code box at checkout. It starts with a zero, and there are no spaces.
- Check that the 8% comes off before you pay.
On a head unit listed at $678, 8% is about $54. Most stores take only one code per order, so if Dasaita has a bigger sale running, compare the two and use whichever saves you more.
My video descriptions also say the code works on Amazon. Make sure the discount shows up before you buy there. Also, Dasaita's warranty policy says that for units sold by Amazon or other resellers, the warranty depends on that reseller. So that's worth checking too.
Why I trust Dasaita
So, I put the 10.2-inch Dasaita G13 in my 2007 Tundra, along with Dasaita's front and rear cameras, and ran it for a little over a year. That unit was amazing for me. The one thing I wanted most was physical buttons, especially a volume knob.
The reason I did any of this is that I didn't want to buy a new truck just to get the new truck features. A head unit like this gets you most of the way there. For me, it's CarPlay with onX Offroad and Spotify, plus a control app for my lights and accessories. It also has a gyro screen that shows how off camber you are on the trail, and a front camera that sees right between the bull bar and the bumper.
Moving from the 10.2 to the 11.6
When Dasaita came out with the 11.6-inch for the 2007–2013 Tundra, I upgraded. It has a volume knob, a tuning knob, and hard buttons for home, navigation, radio, music, phone and back. It boots up really quickly, the resolution is way clearer than the 10.2, and it still fits inside the center console area, so I can still see my clock.
It cost $150 or so more than the 10.2, and in my opinion that's worth it for the resolution, the size and the buttons. Right now Dasaita lists the 2007–2013 Tundra version at $578 for 6GB/64GB or $678 for 8GB/256GB. The old 10.2 link from my earlier videos now goes to the 11.6 page, so look at the 11.6 or the Vivid 13 if you have this truck.
What to know before you install one
- It takes some dash work. You pull the shift knob, cup holder, console, trim panels and climate control panel to get to the head unit. Dasaita includes pry tools and paper instructions, and the connectors pretty much only fit in one spot.
- You won't need every wire. I use CarPlay and my phone or Starlink for internet, so I skipped the GPS antenna, the 4G antenna and the SIM reader, and that keeps things cleaner behind the unit. If you'll use the built-in navigation, install the GPS antenna. A SIM means paying your carrier for service.
- Factory JBL trucks use a different harness. In my kit, there were two very similar harnesses. I don't have JBL, so I used the one without the box. Dasaita's listing says the factory JBL amp is supported.
- Factory cameras have a catch. Dasaita says if your factory backup camera only displays in the rearview mirror, it can't show on their head unit. You'd need a separate camera. Trucks with no factory camera need one too.
- Upgrade the mic if you take calls. The built-in mic on my 10.2 was decent. On the 11.6, I ran the included mic to the headliner above the mirror to get better call quality.
My Tundra never had the factory tailgate handle camera, so I originally mounted the rear camera down in the bumper. It kind of looked funny. In the 11.6 video, I swapped in a tailgate handle with a 1080p camera built in. I linked the one I used in the description, and Dasaita also lists a tailgate handle camera for the 2007–2013 Tundra. If you're wiring cameras in a Tacoma, I wrote up front and anytime backup camera options too.
Which Dasaita fits your truck
I've only run these in my Tundra, so everything else here is just the main listings on Dasaita's site. Prices are from their site as of November 2026, before the code, and they change. Make sure the listing matches your exact year and audio system before you order.
| Vehicle | What Dasaita lists | Listed price |
|---|---|---|
| Tundra, 2007–2013 | 11.6" with knobs, or Vivid 13 | $578–$708 |

| Tundra, 2022–2026 | 14" | $1,098–$1,198 |
| Tacoma, 2005–2015 | G13, or Vivid 13 | $548–$648 |
| Tacoma, 2016–2023 | 11.6" with knobs, Vivid 13, or a separate Android 13 unit listed for 2016–2022 | $516–$728 |
| Tacoma, 2024–2026 | 14" | $1,098 |
| 4Runner, 2010–2024 | 9", 10.25", or Vivid 13 | $548–$678 |
| RAV4, 2019–2025 | 12.3" | $598–$758 |
| Land Cruiser, 2024–2026 | 12.3" | $758 |
My verdict
If you have a truck you like and it never had CarPlay, this is a way to keep the truck and still get the tech. If you're choosing between screens and you want physical buttons, get the one with the knobs. For me personally, the 11.6 is the one I'd pick for the 2007–2013 Tundra. The code takes about $50 off a unit in the $600 to $700 range.
FAQ
Does Dasaita have a discount code?
Yes. Code 08RUN4TACOS takes 8% off at dasaita.com. Enter it at checkout.
Does the Dasaita code work on Amazon?
My video descriptions say it does, but confirm the discount applies before you pay. Dasaita's policy says the warranty on reseller purchases, including Amazon, depends on that reseller.
Which Dasaita head unit fits a 2007–2013 Tundra?
Dasaita lists the 11.6" with physical knobs and the Vivid 13 for this truck. I run the 11.6 in my 2007. The old 10.2 link from my earlier videos now goes to the 11.6 page.
Is the Dasaita 11.6 worth it over the 10.2?
For me, yes. It cost $150 or so more, and I got a bigger, clearer screen plus physical buttons and a volume knob, which is what I was missing on the 10.2.
Will my factory backup camera work with a Dasaita?
Dasaita says factory-installed cameras are supported on the 11.6 Tundra unit, unless the camera only displays in the rearview mirror. In that case, you'd need a separate camera. Check the listing for your vehicle.
