ICECO Discount Code? 12% Off Applies Automatically (2026)
I earn a commission if you buy through these links or codes, at no extra cost to you. I only list brands I've used or tested on my own trucks.
You don't need an ICECO discount code. Shop through my link, icecofreezer.com/TVO, and 12% comes off automatically. There's nothing to type at checkout. ICECO makes 12V fridge/freezers like the APL35 I run in our Tundra camper.
How to get the 12% off
- Click the ICECO link above. Use that exact link so the discount attaches to your visit.
- Pick your fridge and add it to your cart.
- Open the cart and check that the 12% shows up before you pay. You don't enter anything in a code box.
- If you leave and come back later, go back in through the link again. That way the discount is still attached.
ICECO runs its own sales and combo deals on the site too. Most stores only apply one discount per order, so if there's a bigger sale running, compare it against 12% and take whichever saves you more.
Why I run ICECO
So, I've made a few videos on ICECO fridges since 2022. The first one was the 45 quart VLPro45S. We took it on a few trips and it was great, and if you want a more affordable fridge that still performs well, that's where I'd point you. In 2024 I did the APL55 dual zone, and I called it my favorite overland fridge to date.
The reason why I think a fridge is one of the most useful pieces of overland gear is pretty simple. Food is one of the most important things out there, and you need to keep it at the right temperature so it doesn't go bad, especially when you're driving from place to place and the temps change. A 12V fridge does that without you buying ice every day.
What I run now: the APL35 in our Tundra camper
In my 2007 Tundra with the Tune Outdoor M1 camper, the fridge is an ICECO APL35. It's dual zone, so one side is just frozen otter pops and the other side is condiments, drinks, limes and random stuff. It basically lives in the camper.
When I first set it up, I ran the fridge off a Goal Zero portable power station. Later I switched to a RedArc QuickFit75 system with a 320Ah Dakota Lithium battery, because I was over the loose 12V connections and wires everywhere, and I didn't want to worry about the fridge shutting off. Now the dual-zone fridge shows up right in the RedVision app, and the APL35 sits on an ICECO fridge slide with the power cord routed so it doesn't snag.
Which ICECO fridge to get
These are the ICECO fridges I've covered. I checked ICECO's site on October 25, 2026, and the APL35, APL55 and the VL45 models are all still on their homepage.
| Fridge | What I used it for | Get it if |
|---|---|---|
| APL35 (dual zone) | Lives in our Tundra camper on a fridge slide | You want a compact fridge with a freezer side and space is tight |
| APL55 (dual zone) | My 2024 review, my favorite overland fridge to date | You want more room for longer trips or more people |
| VL45 line | I tested the VLPro45S on a few trips in 2022 | You want a more affordable option that still performs well |
Heads up on the VL45: the model in my 2022 video was the VLPro45S. ICECO's homepage now lists the VL45, VL45ProS and VL45PLUS, so check the current listing to see which one matches what you want.
Fridge slides
If your fridge goes in a bed, a drawer system or the back of an SUV, a slide lets you pull it out to get to it. We have one under the APL35 in the Tundra, and the custom 4Runner drawer build I covered in 2026 was getting an ICECO fridge slide, an ICECO fridge and a battery bank mounted on top. ICECO sells fridge slide mounts on its site, so check that the slide matches your fridge model before you order.
My take
If it's just you or two people and space is tight, get the APL35. That's what I run. If you're feeding more people or going out longer, look at the APL55. And if budget matters most, the VL45 line is the more affordable way in. For me personally, the APL55 is still my favorite of the ones I've reviewed, and the APL35 is the one that fit our camper.
If you're also wiring up power for it, I've got codes for other partners on the full code list, and I'm working on a broader 12V fridge guide.

FAQ
Does ICECO have a discount code?
Not through me. The 12% applies automatically when you shop through icecofreezer.com/TVO, so there's no code to type.
Why didn't my ICECO discount show up?
Make sure you went in through the link and check the cart before paying. If you left the site, go back through the link again. A sitewide sale may also be applied instead, since most stores take one discount per order.
ICECO APL35 vs APL55, which one should I get?
Both are dual zone. The APL35 is the compact one I run in our Tundra camper. The APL55 gives you more room for longer trips or more people.
Which ICECO fridge is the most affordable?
Of the ones I've used, the VL45 line. I tested the VLPro45S on a few trips in 2022 and it performed well for the price.
Can I put an ICECO fridge on a slide?
Yes. ICECO sells fridge slide mounts, and our APL35 sits on an ICECO fridge slide in the Tundra camper. Match the slide to your fridge model.
