Prinsu Discount Code: TVO5 for 5% Off (2026)
I earn a commission if you buy through these links or codes, at no extra cost to you. I only list brands I've used or tested on my own trucks.
The Prinsu discount code is TVO5, for 5% off at prinsu.com. Enter it at checkout. It works on Prinsu's own site, which sells the original Prinsu roof rack, the newer Prinsu Pro rack, and their accessories.
How to use the code
- Go to prinsu.com and pick the rack for your exact vehicle, year and cab.
- Add it to your cart, plus any accessories you want, and open checkout.
- Type TVO5 in the discount code box. It's all caps, no spaces.
- Check that the 5% comes off before you pay.
5% isn't huge. Most stores take only one code per order, so if Prinsu is running a bigger sale, the sale price may beat it. Compare both and use whichever saves you more.
Why I trust Prinsu
So, Prinsu was one of the first roof racks I ever put on a truck. I installed one on my 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro back in 2018, and in my opinion it completely changed the look of the truck. The next year I did a full install on a 5th gen 4Runner, and that video is still my most-watched rack video.
Later I moved to a different rack on the Tacoma, and in 2022 I went back to Prinsu. The reasons were the same ones I liked from the start: the design is sleek, the build quality is good, and the load bars have drop-in channels for a carriage bolt, so you can mount pretty much anything without drilling the bars.
Prinsu vs Prinsu Pro
Prinsu now sells two roof rack lines:
- Prinsu Roof Rack ("The Original"). The slim, flat rack you see in most of my older videos. It covers the widest range of vehicles.
- Prinsu Pro Roof Rack. The newer line. When I installed one on the Land Cruiser 250, the big differences were stronger aluminum crossbars and a more modular bolt-on setup for things like light bar mounts, wind deflectors and tie-downs.
If you just want a clean, low rack for a light bar and a couple of recovery boards, the original does the job. If you're planning a rooftop tent or a lot of accessories, look at the Pro.
Which Prinsu rack fits your truck
Here's what Prinsu lists for the Toyota and Lexus models I get asked about most:
| Vehicle | Original | Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Tacoma Double Cab, 2005–2023 | Yes (cab rack) | Yes |
| 4Runner 5th gen, 2010–2024 | Yes (full length, non-drill) | Yes |
| Tundra | Yes | Yes |
| Land Cruiser, 2024+ | Yes | Yes |
| Lexus GX460, 2010–2023 | Yes | Yes |
| Lexus GX550 | — | Yes |
| Sequoia, RAV4, FJ Cruiser | Yes | Sequoia and RAV4 |
They also make bed racks and bed bars for the Tacoma and Tundra, and racks for plenty of non-Toyota trucks. Always check fitment on the product page before you order. Year, cab and bed length all matter. If you have a 2024+ Tacoma or a 2025+ 4Runner, make sure the listing covers your generation.
Install tips from my videos
- Build it on the floor first. On the 4Runner I laid out every piece on the garage floor, assembled the whole rack, then carried it to the truck. It's a lot easier than fighting bolts on the roof.
- The 4Runner rack is non-drill. It mounts to the existing holes on the 2010+ 4Runner roof.
- Running a snorkel on a Tacoma? I installed a Prinsu on a Tacoma with an Airaid snorkel, and it needed a small hardware kit to tie the two together.
- Light bar: the Prinsu has a 40" cut-out up front. I ran a 42" light bar in it on the 4Runner, and on our 2013 Tacoma we ran a 40" bar plus Maxtrax and two RotopaX using Prinsu's mounts.

FAQ
Does Prinsu have a discount code?
Yes. Code TVO5 takes 5% off at prinsu.com. Enter it at checkout.
Can I stack TVO5 with a Prinsu sale?
Usually not. Most stores take one code per order. During a big sale, compare the sale price against 5% off and use whichever is lower.
What's the difference between Prinsu and Prinsu Pro?
The original Prinsu is the slim, flat rack that fits the most vehicles. The Pro is the newer line, with stronger crossbars and a more modular accessory setup.
Do you have to drill to install a Prinsu rack on a 4Runner?
No. The full-length Prinsu for the 2010–2024 4Runner is non-drill and bolts to the factory holes in the roof.
What size light bar fits a Prinsu roof rack?
The Tacoma and 4Runner Prinsu racks have a 40" cut-out. I've run both a 40" and a 42" bar in it.
