ToyTec Lifts Discount Code: TVO10 for 10% Off (2026)
I earn a commission if you buy through these links or codes, at no extra cost to you. I only list brands I've used or tested on my own trucks.
The ToyTec Lifts discount code is TVO10, for 10% off at toyteclifts.com. Enter it at checkout. ToyTec makes Boss coilovers, complete lift kits, upper control arms and shocks for Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra, Sequoia, FJ Cruiser and Lexus GX.
How to use the code
- Go to toyteclifts.com and use the vehicle finder to pick your exact year and model.
- Add the kit to your cart and open checkout.
- Type TVO10 in the discount code box. All caps, no spaces.
- Make sure the 10% comes off before you pay.
Most stores take one code per order. If ToyTec is running a bigger sale, like Black Friday, compare the sale price against 10% off and use whichever saves you more. On a full coilover kit, 10% is real money, so it's worth checking both.
Why I trust ToyTec
So, I've been around ToyTec for a long time. Back in 2018 we installed the ToyTec 2.0 lift on a 2016 4Runner Trail Edition with KDSS, and in 2019 we went out to one of their events in Colorado and ended up stuck in the snow for two hours on the trail ride after.
More recently, I pulled the King 2.5 remote reservoir shocks off our 4th gen Tacoma. They had almost 40,000 miles on them with a camper setup, and the finish was peeling and flaking. I replaced them with ToyTec's Boss 2.5 remote reservoir coilovers with the CNC aluminum brackets. In that video I also go over how ToyTec's shock design changed from their older version to the new aluminum one.
ToyTec also runs a full install and build shop in Denver, the same shop I walk through in my rear shock video, where they rebuild King, Fox, Icon, Radflo, ToyTec and other shocks. ToyTec says its products carry a 3-year limited warranty, so read their warranty page for what's covered.
Which ToyTec kit fits your truck
ToyTec's lineup is organized by vehicle. Their main coilover line is the Boss series, and they also sell complete lift kits (including Ultimate lift kits), leveling kits, upper control arms, rear lift springs and add-a-leafs, and shocks. Here's how I'd think about it:
| Your truck | Where to start | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Tacoma, 2nd to 4th gen | Boss coilovers, or a complete lift kit | Rear rod end length if you lift the rear 2 to 3" |
| 4Runner, 5th gen | Boss coilovers or a complete lift kit | KDSS trucks have their own install steps |
| Tundra 2022+, Sequoia 2023+ | Toytec 2.5 Boss Series kit, 2" to 3" front, 2" rear | Aftermarket upper control arms are required and not included |
| FJ Cruiser, Lexus GX470 / GX460 | Use the vehicle finder for the Boss kit | Check fitment before you order |
For the 2022+ Tundra kit, the front coilovers adjust between 2 and 3 inches and come with a preload tool. In my spacer lift vs coilover video I put that kit on a 3rd gen Tundra, and if you're lifting the front more than 2", you'll need aftermarket upper control arms. Longer CV axles from Toyota are also recommended.
Coilovers or a spacer lift?
If you're on the fence, this is the question I get the most. A spacer lift just pushes your factory spring and shock to a height Toyota never designed them for. A coilover replaces the whole assembly, so you get a shock and spring built for that height and you can dial in your ride height.
- If you want cheap and don't mind a stiffer ride, a spacer lift works and lets you keep your factory shocks a while longer.
- If you daily drive it and care how it rides, go coilovers. In the shop, 6 or 7 out of 10 customers who get a spacer lift come back wanting something different.
For more on how much lift actually makes sense, see how much lift for a daily driven Tacoma.
Don't skip the rear rod end
One mistake I see a lot: people lift the rear of their 4Runner or Tacoma 2 to 3 inches and reuse rear shocks built for factory height. Those ship with the short rod end, so the shock tops out every time the suspension droops. Order the longer rod end, and look at extended bump stops or a bump stop spacer while you're in there. It's cheap insurance on an expensive set of shocks.
My older ToyTec install
That 2018 video shows the ToyTec 2.0 lift. ToyTec's current coilovers are the Boss series, so use the vehicle finder for today's kit for your truck.
FAQ
Does ToyTec Lifts have a discount code?
Yes. Code TVO10 takes 10% off at toyteclifts.com. Enter it at checkout.
Can I stack TVO10 with a ToyTec sale?
Usually not. Most stores take one code per order. During a big sale, compare the sale price with 10% off and use whichever is lower.
Do I need upper control arms with a ToyTec lift on a 2022+ Tundra?
Yes, for the Toytec 2.5 Boss kit. ToyTec lists aftermarket upper control arms as required and sells them separately.
ToyTec Boss vs King shocks?
I swapped King 2.5s for ToyTec Boss 2.5 coilovers on our Tacoma after the King finish peeled at about 40,000 miles.
Where is ToyTec located?
Denver, Colorado. They run a full install and build shop there, plus shock rebuild service.
